講義概要 Course description
The UK has left the EU. “Brexit” is causing many problems inside and outside the EU. Before we predict a future shape of Europe, however, we should consider what made British people move toward “Brexit”?
In this course, you will learn about the formation process of the EU and the significance of unremitting endeavors of EU member countries for their unification. You will also examine the cultures of EU countries and the current issues surrounding them. Presenting your research and discussing the issues in groups or in the class, you will come to understand how this utopian enterprise to create a unified European community is a noble but fragile attempt.
